24 Hour Emergency

What We Saw on the Road Today in Kingman

One of the things I enjoy about this business is that every day is different.

This morning started before sunrise as our technicians loaded their trucks and headed toward Kingman for a full day of scheduled service calls. By the time most people were having their first cup of coffee, our team was already diagnosing air conditioning issues and helping homeowners get ahead of the summer heat.

Kingman has always been a unique market for us. We service homes of all ages, from newer developments to properties that have been standing for decades. Because of that, we see a wide range of air conditioning systems and an even wider range of problems.

Today’s calls included a little bit of everything.

One homeowner called because their air conditioner seemed to be cooling fine in the morning but struggled during the hottest part of the afternoon. Another customer noticed a sudden increase in their electric bill and wanted to know if their HVAC system was the cause. We also inspected a system that had been making an unusual vibration for several weeks. Thankfully, the issue was caught early before it developed into a much larger repair.

What many homeowners don’t realize is that air conditioning systems often give warning signs long before they completely fail. Strange noises, longer run times, uneven temperatures, and rising energy costs are all clues that something isn’t operating as efficiently as it should.

Throughout the day, our technicians spent just as much time educating customers as they did repairing equipment. We believe homeowners should understand what’s happening with their systems and what options are available to them. An informed customer can make better decisions and often avoid expensive breakdowns later.

One of my favorite moments today came from a customer who told our technician, “I thought I was going to need a whole new system.” After a thorough inspection, the problem turned out to be a much smaller repair than expected. Those are the kinds of conversations we like having.

As temperatures continue to rise across Mohave County, we’re encouraging homeowners not to ignore the early warning signs their air conditioning systems may be giving them. A simple service call today can often prevent a much larger problem during the hottest weeks of summer.
